About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

 

The Structured Notes Issuing and Paying Agent will be responsible for managing the issuance and payment processes for structured notes. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

  • Issuance Management: Oversee the issuance process of structured notes, including preparing and reviewing documentation, coordinating with legal and compliance teams, and ensuring timely issuance.
  • Payment Processing: Manage the payment of interest, principal, and other related payments to noteholders. Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including issuance and payment details. Ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies. Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Coordination: Work closely with internal teams such as legal, compliance, finance, and operations to ensure smooth execution of tasks. Liaise with external parties such as paying agents, and noteholders as required.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on issuance and payment activities. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Customer Service: Address inquiries from noteholders and other stakeholders. Provide timely and accurate information and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Providing support for Derivatives Documentation and Client Valuation.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of structured notes and related financial instruments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to structured notes issuance and payments.
  • Experience with VBA or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with financial software and systems used for managing structured notes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
