About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralizing and standardizing technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

Role Description

  • The role requires the intern to work with Problem / Incident and Quality Manager to analyze existing data under Problem / Incident Management Domain in order to implement overall Data Quality improvements for Core Banking Department.
  • The intern will also assist to analyze and extract data for incidents and problems and look at automated reporting for overall Quality improvement under this team.

Assignment

  • Work with Problem / Incident and Quality Manager to gather and track essential data used for QA and Incident /Problem management team (L3)
  • Analyze, Identify and propose Data Quality improvements and relevant tracking within the Department using essential incident / problem data
  • Document and automate Problem / Incident / Team Utilization Statistics, reporting and presentation for better tracking and monitoring  
  • Work with Problem / Incident and Quality manager to automate Incidents / Problem data reporting and analysis
  • Attend discussions and meetings to understand data extraction requirements
  • To extract relevant data and work on presentation of data to management and stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Able to commit to a 6 months internship
  • Looking for Poly / Undergrad / PostGrad students
  • With relevant study area / experience in data analytics domain
  • Ability to understand technical concept
  • Power BI knowledge
  • Data analytics skillset (e.g. in Python) will be a strong plus.
  • Quick learner. Committed and willing to work hard.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A strong English communicator in speaking and writing
