Senior Network Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver new network/security or tech-refresh projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered professionally and with quality.
- Coordinate and work with Project Managers to properly execute the projects’ scope of work.
- Provide regular and timely projects updates to key stakeholders.
- Design and implement new network and/or security solutions and/or optimize the efficiency of current networks and/or security.
- Preparation of Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and other projects documentations/diagrams as required.
- Completion of required User Acceptance Test (UAT) or relevant customer required tests and with proper documentations.
- Provide knowledge transfer to customer and other stakeholder upon completion of projects.
- Assist Day 2 Network Team with troubleshooting for managed service customer when requested.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network deployment for medium to large-scale network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of network/security technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, access networks, wireless network, NAC, SASE, and SD-WAN.
- Proficient in configuring network routing & switching, wireless network, and/or firewalls, to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Proven expertise in core switching and routing (Aruba professional certification preferred).
- Practical experience with HPE Aruba Campus/Wireless solutions.
- Good project management, configuration, troubleshooting skills.
- Good customer interaction, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels, and ability to work and contribute in a team or individually.
