The senior engineer role will focus on ensuring resilient, secure, and high‑performance IP/MPLS core network operations that safeguard business continuity and support the growth of Consumer and Enterprise services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert‑level support for complex enterprise and IP core network environments
- Design, implement, and optimise network solutions across multiple platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Lead major network projects, including Tech‑Refresh and proof‑of‑concept initiatives
- Participate in 24/7 standby rotation and manage critical escalations
- Perform security configurations, patches, firmware and router hardware upgrades
- Conduct risk and vulnerability reviews on core infrastructure
- Monitor and analyse network performance, recommending improvements
- Provision and migrate L2VPN/L3VPN services (QP‑EVPL, PB‑EVC, AG‑EVC)
- Support GovTech (G1) and Cloud Connect circuit provisioning and migration
- Coordinate incident response, fault isolation, and vendor escalations
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in medium‑to‑large enterprise or service‑provider network engineering
- Proven success running IP/MPLS networks with BGP/OSPF expertise
- Hands‑on experience with Huawei routers, switches, NCE, and iNMS tools
- Led high‑impact network upgrades, migrations, or major incident recoveries
- Delivered strong operational outcomes in demanding 24/7 environments
