Purpose
Provide planning and implementation support to 4G/5G Mobile Core nodes and Network Functions, IP backbone, Mobile 4G/5G Cloud Infrastructure, new commercial services and network initiatives, roaming related service support.
Responsibilities
- Carry out capacity planning and dimensioning of Mobile 4G/5G Core Network elements integrated with IP and cloud infrastructure
- Plan and deploy project work plans for network expansion, upgrades and integration tasks
- Monitor network performance and ensure good functionality of the Mobile elements
- Implement roaming related projects and support new mobile commercial services and initiatives
- Conduct technical feasibility study or trials of new emerging technologies
Support IMDA 5GEP roll-out and 4G/5G enterprise projects
Qualifications
- Tertiary education in Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably with hands-on knowledge of the following:

- 3GPP Mobile Core nodes such as MME/AMF, SPGW/SMF/UPF, SDM, PCRF/PCF and associated protocols
- Mobile 4G/ 5G network and other software related portfolio like IMS, Vowifi, VoNR, NEF
- Network and Application security
- API communication
- IP switching and routing protocols
- Basic proficiency in software programming and scripting
- Good knowledge of various application protocols and OTT
- Able to perform occasional night time network deployments
