Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Understand the functional requirements.
2. Produce test scenarios targeting all functional requirements and system interfaces (API, batch jobs etcetera).
3. Produce detailed test cases and test procedures.
4. Perform test activities such as execution, capturing and analyzing test results (checking of interface files, database with SQL queries etcetera).
5. Raising and tracking of defects and liaise with the developer for fixes.
6. Monitor and track the Jira defects raised by the SIT team, analyze and reproduce the defect for developers to fix and conduct first-level testing before release to the SIT team.
7. Update and maintaining existing test artifacts for unit/ SIT testing.
8. Prepare test data and test cases and traceability matrix.
9. Produce and document daily activities reports.
10. Coordinate and liaise with relevant parities for project related items.
11. Maintain relationship with project team as well as with other interfacing teams·
12. Participate in team meetings.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
1. Candidates must have two years of experience in software application testing.
2. Candidates must have SIT testing experiences in banking with a minimum of one continuous year's experience with relevant domains.
3. Ability to work with people of all levels.
4. Able to work in fast pace and challenging environment.
5. Must be a team player as well as able to work independently with drive, initiative, positive mindset, good interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
7. Good aptitude with good logical thinking and analytical skills.
8. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
