Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project & Operations Manager to join the Software and Infrastructure team within the Enterprise Platforms product group. This role is responsible for leading the deployment and operational management of Telco Edge Cloud, GPU Private Cloud, and associated platform services.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across development, product, business, and architecture to support end-to-end platform delivery and ongoing operations.

Technical Project Management

  • Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely delivery of platform initiatives
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including project status and key metrics
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation

Technical Operations

  • Develop and maintain incident response processes and procedures
  • Monitor incident resolution to ensure compliance with agreed service levels
  • Assess and prioritize incidents based on impact and urgency
  • Maintain detailed incident records for analysis and reporting
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and improvement actions
  • Collaborate with teams to implement preventive measures
  • Support customer communications, including operational reviews and reporting

Skills for success

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CPM, or ITIL
  • Demonstrated experience in technical project management and operations in cloud or telecom environments
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments

Technical Skills

  • Experience with at least two of the following hypervisors: VMware ESXi, OpenStack, KVM, Nutanix
  • Knowledge of networking technologies including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and L2/L3 concepts
  • Familiarity with firewalls and switches (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper or equivalent)
  • Experience with server infrastructure (rack-mounted, HCI, or blade servers)
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems
