Function Overview

The Risk Solutions Group (RSG) is a fast growing team located in Nomura’s Investment Banking Division (IBD) on the private side. The team delivers strategic risk management solutions to both Corporate and Financial Sponsors in the Asia ex-Japan region.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Client facing role with Corporates & Financial Sponsors
  • Introducing new corporate client relationships to the firm with a primary focus on Chinese Clients in the broader AEJ region.
  • Maintaining existing client relationships of the firm
  • Generate tailor-made risk management and investment solutions for sales-client interaction and
  • engagement
  • Pricing and dealing vanilla and exotic derivatives across FX, Credit, Rates and Structured Products
  • Working closely with regional trading, structuring and origination teams to deliver strategic solutions
  • Drive and lead client presentations and internal marketing activities

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within Origination and Structuring in Investment Banking or Global Markets
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dealing with Clients for Origination.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial derivatives product such as FX, Rates and Commodities.
  • Have proven track record of existing client relationship.
  • Candidate must display entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Ability to speak to clients in Mandarin to originate business.
