Job Purpose

This position is responsible for day-to-day ground operation of NOC (Network Operation Centre).

Responsibilities

  • Attend to escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend to 24/7 NOC phone line and emails.
  • Perform network monitoring and fault management.
  • Manage network outage notifications to customers.
  • Assist with daily SOC (Security Operations Centre) and IT monitoring duties.
  • Coordination of operation activities.
  • Layer 1 (fibre optic) network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and respond to facility and security alarms.
  • Timely response to incidents/ breaches within Central Office.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Diploma or NITEC in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or relevant field.
  • Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift duty.
  • 1 or more years of professional work experience in the Security Operation Center (SOC) environment will be advantageous.
  • Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply & training will be provided.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Committed and good team player.
