Job Description

The Role

This role is pivotal in managing the Group's financial planning and analysis, including handling financial modelling, simulations, and variance analysis. You will define and identify business requirements, report findings to senior management, and prepare high-quality presentations and analyses to support strategic decision-making. This position demands strong analytical skills, strategic insight, and the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively. You will be required to work independently or as part of a team to deliver top-notch presentations and analyses for senior management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the forecasting and budget exercises, and prepare analysis reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with senior management and business units to develop annual budget targets
  • Preparation of the Group forecast and budget presentations, including key assumptions, trend analysis, simulations (e.g., acquisitions, divestments) and interest projections
  • Oversee performance measurement reporting, including KPIs and Economic Value Added (EVA)
  • Develop scenarios to assess impacts on Group results, KPIs, and EVA for strategic planning
  • Participate in the implementation of a new budget forecasting system
  • Drive process improvement initiatives
  • Support various ad-hoc projects as needed

Job Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant with Degree in Accountancy, Finance or ACCA or other quantitative disciplines where relevant.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in consolidation, advanced financial modelling, analytical skills and a strong attention to details would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in real estate industry is a clear advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Able to perform in a highly collaborative work environment and to multi-task and work under pressure, both independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with financial and legal knowledge, experience in REITs listing set-up and capital operation.
  • Possess macro view and vision of international market
