Help us get ahead of disease together with our Quality Business Area / Compliance and Inspection Performance Internship, 2026: 

Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Engineering discipline with a focus in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Pharmacy or Chemistry

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship & doing a full-time credit bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Internship period: January to June/December 2026

What will you do?

This mimics the role of a Compliance Officer, giving the candidate a hands-on experience of compliance activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
You will have the opportunity to expose to API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) manufacture and laboratory operations, understand QA oversight in API operations, perform data analysis, and develop problem-solving skills and implement improvements.


On-the-job learning will be provided with the opportunity to work alongside existing Compliance Officers who act as mentor for a better understanding of the cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements.

What will you learn?

  • Ensure that the API manufacturing and laboratory operations are carried out in a compliance manner to company policies and regulatory guidelines

  • Participate in defects trending and analysis, identify and implement improvements, and streamline work processes to drive down defects

  • Participate in Inspection Readiness activities to ensure the site performs well in fronting external/ internal audit activities
