The Consumer Banking Group (CBG) Data Chapter is dedicated to making data-driven decisions to transform how CBG operates. We believe that leveraging data and business intelligence is crucial for achieving significant growth.
 

About the role
As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying business growth opportunities and helping CBG achieve its goals through analytical insights and AI solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and senior management on strategic discussions.

• Conducting in-depth data analysis and simulations.
• Developing informative dashboards.
• Presenting clear, concise, and actionable insights to key partners.

Responsibilities includes :

• Lead data-driven decision-making in Consumer Banking.
• Understand Consumer Banking products and the full customer lifecycle.
• Partner with Product to create new strategies, seamless customer journeys, and better customer experiences.
• Apply the Data Driven Operation Model (DDOM) to maximize data value and drive business impact.
• Analyze customer behavior to find key trends, insights, and opportunities for deeper customer engagement.
• Champion a customer-obsessed approach by understanding needs and designing effective campaigns and experiments.

Business Acumen & Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 7 years of analytics experience, coupled with a strong understanding of Consumer Banking products.
• Prior experience in data management and analytics within banking, fintech, or financial consulting is a plus.
• Ability to understand and apply analytics strategies and models to real-world business scenarios.
• Skilled in engaging in expert-level discussions with stakeholders and product partners.

Technical Capabilities:

• Proficient in various data analytics techniques, including descriptive, predictive, prescriptive, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Capable of coding and querying data for extraction.
• Knowledge of statistical languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark is preferred.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as QlikSense is a bonus.

Interpersonal & Soft Skills:

• Proactive and growth-oriented, embracing organizational transformation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex concepts and navigate challenging conversations with stakeholders.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams
