Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Job Purpose

Responsible for all business function requirements of RMG Credit including acting as financial controller for RMG Credit, providing project governance and support and others business support functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, track, and ensure discipline and accountability in RMG Credit’s expense and headcount matters.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial request from Credit heads and external stakeholders.
• Provide support and governance for projects within RMG Credit.
• Participate in Credit related projects.
• Reconcile and perform variance analysis on financials, and proactively escalate possible issues to management.
• Work with coordinators and Finance to review variances on financials for monthly update to management.
• Monitor submissions of strategic cost management (SCM) initiatives, and work with coordinators and SCM team to ensure that SCM target is met.
• Coordinate the annual forecast and budget exercise.
• Monitor and track enhancement status (financials, work done and benefits realisation), and work with stakeholders to prepare materials for regular Platform governance updates.
• Provide support to Credit COO for monitoring and track of credit projects and related business functions.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial sector.
• Relevant working experience in accounting, statistics, data analytics and/ or project management.
• Competent in Microsoft office tools.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Team-player and good interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
