About the role
This pivotal role drives strategic Change Management and Transformation initiatives across the Group's Regional Cash Operations, encompassing all payment products including Outgoing, Incoming, local RTGS, instant rails, and FX. The incumbent will lead high-impact transformations for key products such as GlobeSend, Gen Ai in Payments, Demand Management, directly shaping the future of DBS's payment landscape.
Responsibilities
- To plan, lead and support project & change management of key Regional Cash and IBGO programs across the key markets of the Bank.
- Coordinate and work closely with key stakeholders Global Transaction Services (GTS), Technology, country T&O teams to gather requirements, build knowledge base of country processes, support stakeholders with adequate information gathering and analysis
- Contribute through supporting the Regional Cash agenda in all the key projects including e2e digitization.
- Lead and Manage the Change projects and testing for Cash products including Payments, Receivables and Liquidity Management.
- Become core member of Regional Cash Subject Matter Expert on Cash related products like Payments, Receivables, Liquidity management products and Digital Channels. Further develop, acquire, good knowledge of Cash Management applications and technology covering mainframe systems for Receivables, Liquidity Management and Payment systems like SWIFT, payment processing and local clearing systems.
- Familiar with change management lifecycle and agile methodology and usage of Gen Ai tools like MS-Co-pilot, implementation of LLMs.
- Establish a communication schedule to update sponsors, stakeholders, on the progress of the projects, escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Lead and Manage a team of change leads, testing onshore, offshore including resourcing, hiring and vendor oversight.
Requirements
- Degree holder with minimum 8-10 years of knowledge and experience in Cash and Payments-related Products & Operations in a large and complex project delivery environment
- Specific project implementation experience in any of the Payments, Receivables, Liquidity Management, Digital Channel projects for desktop, mobile, API is preferred
- Ability to understand different business processes across cash functions and locations especially in the Asia region
Knowledge of Agile processes, using data insight, understanding workflow processes including OCR/ICR an added advantage - Manage complexity and ambiguity well with proven skills to take leadership in managing issues and challenges to ensure on-time delivery
- Able to build and maintain high performing teams. Work constantly towards enhancing the people productivity with competency to guide the team in managing diverse and complex set of stakeholders
- Demonstrate leadership and excellent people management skills, provide mentoring to fellow team members leveraging on their strength towards better performance and productivity
