Job Responsibilities

• Administration and management (technical operations) of firewall infrastructure, including Checkpoint, Palo alto, Fortinet, Huawei 
• Evaluate and upgrade firewall hardware and/or firmware 
• Coordinate with vendor, deploy, configure and manage Firewall devices according to L3 engineering design. 
• Perform period health check and tuning of firewall devices.  
• Performs technical assessment of any non-well defined or complex firewall change requests prior to implementation. 
• Create firewall reporting by using Algosec in regular base to clean-up the unused objects.  
• Performs regular review, edit and create of firewall Rulebase and recommend necessary optimization actions. 
• Support Level 2/3 Engineers during fw patching/OS upgrade/tech refresh changes. 
• Performance and historical trend analysis 
• Implements changes to firewall infrastructure hardware to correct errors or enhance functionality 
• Prepares monthly capacity reports and firewall rules reports. 
• Night shifts working is required. 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years firewall operations and/or management role. Hands-on on firewall management role in managing firewall infrastructure of banking critical environment. 
• Certification: CCSA, CCSE, PCNSE and ITIL Foundation (Preferred but not mandatory)
• Have good understanding of Checkpoint Firewalls, Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls technologies. 
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently or as a team player.
