Responsibilities

• Prepare investment proposals that suit clients’ target strategic asset allocation and reflect his or her investment objective and risk profile.
• Assist Investment Counsellors (ICs) in developing and enhancing relationships with clients though a thorough understanding of their requirements and objectives
• Liaise and coordinate marketing efforts for ICs with product desk
• Provide support to the ICs in managing and monitoring clients’ portfolios
• Gather information on economic, finance or investment matter for use by ICs.
• Compile recommendation list from the various product team to address client needs.
• Coordinate meeting and training schedules for the ICs
• Participate in other duties and projects assigned (e.g. streamline the team’s processes in terms of back-ups and risk management, MIS etc)

Requirements

• Knowledge of modern banking solutions and system architecture.
• Basic banking and operational knowledge.
• Knowledge of risk management, credit, operations, finance, compliance and controls
• Good understanding of financial and investment markets
• Computer skills like Excel macro is a plus
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think analytically and problem solving across multiple dimensions.
• Possess CACS Certifications 1 & 2
• For this role, specific focus will be to cover the EUCA market. Incumbent is expected to have knowledge and experience in that region.
