The Regional Wealth Data Chapter develops large scale analytical solutions powered by machine learning and AI to drive customer experience, enable product sales and engagement for the Private Banking and Treasure Private Client business. We want to push the boundary on data and AI and create meaningful solutions that can help and assist our customers and differentiate DBS from the competition.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will

• Be accountable for successful execution and delivery of data and analytics programs and initiatives for the Wealth Management business (Private Banking and Treasures Private Client). This includes overseeing multiple concurrent analytics projects and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives while managing scope

• Translate Business needs into technical requirements and solution design. Collaborate with Tech team to implement analytics solutions via Control Towers and drive adoption with Business.

• Support Business to uncover insights and opportunities by leveraging data and analytics to optimize business processes, improve customer engagement, and drive revenue growth.

• Data product management of Qlik Sense dashboards for KPI tracking to provide continuous visibility for business and advanced analytics for insights discovery and opportunities.

• Monitor and reconcile business-as-usual (BAU) reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and timeliness, identify any discrepancies, and collaborate with relevant teams for reporting enhancements.

• Serve as the primary bridge between Business and Technology to triage/resolve production issues with clear prioritization.

• Prepare and execute complex test cases and review detailed data validation reports from UAT/QA/Production to ensure quality deployments.

• Champion the creation of reusable analytical assets and facilitate knowledge sharing across the Data Chapter team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Master’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative fields is a plus.

• Minimum 7 years of data analytics and translator experience, spanning from descriptive to prescriptive methods, ideally within the financial and banking sectors.

• Practical experience and highly knowledgeable in applying analytics in the Wealth Management domain across Client and Investment Analytics, Sales Management and Marketing.

• Proven track record of successful execution of data analytics initiatives to improve business performance and support business decisions.

• Strong analytical skills, high attention to details and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights.

• High proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation and programming languages such as Python/PySpark for data analysis. 

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense or similar.

• Familiarity with Wealth Management Core Banking systems such as Avaloq is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking and problem-solving skills to lead problem formulation, analytic approach and solution design.
