Business Function:

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with countries Institutional Banking Group (IBG) segments and industries to understand the business drivers and performance
• Support business in strategic business planning and client profitability
• MIS reporting, including budgeting, forward-looking forecasting, close partnership with GFPA to support management reviews and disclosure
• Develop and monitor performance metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met
• Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impact
• Engage in transformation projects and participate in cross-functional collaboration to drive project solutions, implement and test of system solutions
• Provide strong oversight of various financial controls, measurements and systems, including account ownership and timely completion of risk and controls checks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting, minimum 10 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in Institutional Banking Group (IBG) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in Data Analytical systems such as QlikView or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are must-have traits.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills.
