DBS's Innovation Group is seeking a dynamic and visionary Explore & Experiment Specialist to join the Innovation Group. In an ever-evolving landscape, we believe in staying ahead of the curve, continuously adapting, and shaping the future of banking. This role is for someone who sees possibilities where others see challenges, and who is eager to dive deep into emerging trends, transforming them into actionable insights and innovative experiments for DBS.
What You'll Do:
- Trend Horizon Scanning: Continuously research and analyze global emerging trends across technology, consumer behavior, market dynamics, and societal shifts, particularly those impacting the financial services industry.
- Insight Generation: Translate complex trend data into clear, compelling insights and potential opportunities for DBS, identifying areas for disruption and growth.
- Experimentation Design & Execution: Design, develop, and lead rapid experiments and proofs-of-concept (POCs) to test the viability and potential impact of emerging technologies and innovative ideas within DBS.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various business units (e.g., Consumer, Institutional Banking, Technology) to understand their needs and integrate innovative solutions into their strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings, insights, and experiment results to senior management and key stakeholders, advocating for promising initiatives and influencing strategic direction.
- Ecosystem Engagement: Connect with external innovation ecosystems, including startups, fintechs, and research institutions, to foster partnerships and identify collaborative opportunities.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to building an innovation-driven culture within DBS by sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned from experiments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Technology, Design, Innovation).
- Proven experience in innovation, strategy, product development, or a related field within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and experiment with emerging trends and technologies.
- Experience in project and program management and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A background in technology and programming is preferred, with proficiency in variety of programming languages
- Prior experience in the financial services industry or a strong understanding of its landscape is a plus.
