Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities
- Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
- Prepare and review materials used in transactions, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.
- Analysis of energy/ renewables/ infrastructure asset and/or asset portfolio performance; Identify key benchmarks which has the potential to be optimized for said asset and/or asset portfolio.
- Identify potential sellers / buyers/ investors through analysis of market developments and stakeholders’ circumstances.
- Collaborating with external stakeholders (consultants, regulators, legal counsels) to facilitate deal ideation, and sourcing for potential pipeline.
- Executing, managing and advising on potential transactions which covers, inter alia, deal evaluation, feasibility studies and deal structuring.
- Detailed financial modelling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with major in Finance, Accounting, Investment Management or any related disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking/ buy side role; previous working experience on energy, renewables and infrastructure transactions preferred.
- Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news.
- Must Haves:
- Financial Modelling Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions, including detailed financial modelling. Ability to perform financial modelling with prominent data mining and analytical skills for screening investment opportunities.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing materials used in transactions, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.
- Deal Structuring & Execution Knowledge: Working knowledge of deal structuring and execution, including deal evaluation and feasibility studies. Strong ability to create and dissect reports, summarize findings and make sound recommendations to facilitate deal ideation, structuring and execution.
- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills to effectively communicate results/implications to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in relevant software e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, Bloomberg
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
