About the role

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our dynamic Trade Operations team. This role will focus on the processing and administration of Banker's Guarantees, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The candidate needs to possess a strong understanding of trade finance, particularly in Bankers Guarantee, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role offers exciting opportunities to work with cutting-edge Gen AI tools and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Banker's Guarantee Processing & Administration: Process and administer a high volume of Banker's Guarantees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements. This includes pre-processing/processing of banker guarantee/SBLC application and amendment and miscellaneous functions and complying with the stipulated turnaround time.
• Client Interaction & Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients to provide updates on the status of Banker's Guarantee transactions and address any queries.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and ensure all processes are compliant.
• Develop self: Embrace a growth mindset, relentlessly pursuing personal development.
• Embrace changes: Proactively assist the team lead in identifying and implementing process improvements to boost operational efficiency and minimize risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in trade operations, with a focus on Banker's Guarantees (Relevant experience with other trade finance products may be considered.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Gen AI tools or data analytics is a plus. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.
